Relationship-based, trauma-informed practice
Safety, connection and consistency come first. We use calm, predictable responses and focus on regulation before expectation.
Inguz Care provides small, nurturing homes for children and young people who need safety, stability and a trusted team around them. We combine calm, homely environments with skilled, trauma-informed care so children can feel settled, learn, and thrive.
To offer the kind of everyday life every child deserves: somewhere warm and predictable, with adults who listen, notice the small things, and champion each child’s strengths; every single day.
The name is inspired by a symbol often linked to new beginnings and growth. It reflects our belief that with the right relationships and routines, children can make real, lasting progress.
Safety, connection and consistency come first. We use calm, predictable responses and focus on regulation before expectation.
Goals are co-created with the child and their network, reviewed regularly, and celebrated; no matter how small the step.
We work closely with schools, health partners and community services so support feels joined-up and practical.
Shared meals, routines, hobbies, outdoor time and community links; ordinary experiences that make an extraordinary difference.
We support safe, meaningful family contact and honour each child’s culture, beliefs and preferences.
Warmth. Safety. Respect. Voice. Curiosity. Reliability. These values guide how we recruit, train and make decisions and how children and families experience our homes.
Children meet a consistent team who are carefully selected and well-trained. Staff receive ongoing supervision and development in safeguarding, attachment and de-escalation, alongside first aid and practical skills. We reflect, learn and improve together so our care stays steady and child-centred.
Children’s safety is our highest priority. We follow robust safeguarding procedures, clear risk management and strong recording. We welcome external oversight and use feedback and outcomes data to keep improving. Our Statement of Purpose sets out exactly what we offer and how we work.
Good care is a team effort. We communicate clearly with families, local authorities, schools and health professionals, and we keep everyone focused on what matters most to the child. You can expect timely updates, honest conversations and thoughtful planning for transitions.
