Meet the Team
At Inguz Care, the heart of any home is the people within it. Our team brings together dedicated,
trauma-informed professionals who share one purpose: to create a safe, nurturing, and stable environment
where every young person feels seen, supported, and valued.
We’re assembling a warm, steady, and curious team who approach each day with compassion, consistency,
and respect — qualities that help children build trust and begin to heal.
Our Leadership
Our leadership team combines strong safeguarding knowledge with a deeply human approach — ensuring every
decision begins with the question: “What does this mean for the child?”

Our Residential Team
Our Residential Support Team is at the heart of daily life in the home. They provide the structure, warmth,
and relational consistency that help children feel secure.
Each team member is trained in:
- Trauma-informed and attachment-aware practice
- PACE and the House Model of Parenting
- DBT and CBT-informed strategies
- Safeguarding and positive behaviour support
- Reflective supervision and ongoing professional development
Together, we create a calm, nurturing environment where routines, empathy, and meaningful moments help children thrive.
Clinical & Therapeutic Support
We work closely with external/ independant providers who can offer extended clinical assessment pathways and have a dedicated psychologist (Dr. Hayley Knagg), CBT-registered
therapist (Siobhan Barfoot), and mental health nurse (Richard Barfoot) within Inguz Care to ensure every
young person receives the right support at the right time.
This includes:
- Regular clinical oversight and consultation for staff
- Access to psychological assessment, CBT therapy, and mental health support tailored to each child
-
Integration of therapeutic thinking into everyday care — helping staff reflect, respond, and grow alongside
the children they support
Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that children’s emotional, physical, and social needs are met
holistically, with seamless support between the home and clinical teams.
